The Worth Street reconstruction project is a joint bid, mass excavation project intended to install a new trunk water main between Hudson Street and Park Row. This critical installation is part of the City's ongoing efforts to improve the distribution of water throughout Lower Manhattan.

LinkNYC Wi-Fi Kiosk Installation
MFM Contracting is happy to be part of the CityBridge Wi-Fi Kiosk project, LinkNYC. We helped bring free Wi-Fi Kiosks to New York City. We removed old phone booths. Then installed conduit, electrical cable & the new free public Wi-Fi Kiosks throughout the five boroughs. (See also Video review by Ars Technica)

44th Drive Pier & DEP Outfall Construction
Serving the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation ahead of schedule & within budget, MFM Contracting reconstructed the deteriorated 44th Drive Pier & DEP outfall along the East River in Long Island City. We removed the pier deck, timber piles, drove new concrete-filled open-end pipe piles, set a new structural steel framework and placed a new concrete deck slab. Plus, a 66-inch sewer outfall with a new reinforced concrete pipe was replaced along with a poured-in-place concrete encasement.

34th Street Transitway Construction – Phase I
The 34th Street Phase I construction project enabled MFM Contracting to help grow & improve Manhattan. Our efforts in this project will help increase the select bus traffic flow on 34th street, increase water distribution throughout Manhattan. It provides for safer and faster MTA access. Our interagency relationships, our experience and hard work enabled the project to finish ahead of schedule.
